Maharashtrian Slippers on the bumpy roads of Shimla
During the regular movement in Mumbai, where there is a humid weather throughout the year and there is more or less ‘normal’ temperature, I made homemade at home. When I went out, I wore Kolhapuri Chappals or Sandals. Only those who work in corporate offices had to wear socks and shoes. My ancestral city of Shimla is exactly the opposite. Most of the time of year, the weather is cold and wears a T-shirt-neck-neck shirt, as well as shoes, not slippers. As I traveled between two extremes, I had many trouble walking with summer and winter clothes until someone suggested – ‘buying and wearing local clothes’. After that, life became a little easier and the journeys also became light. A summer of summer in Shimla I was wearing jeans and kurtas. Due to the habit, I wore Kolhapuri, who was left in the previous trip. This habit of walking slowly became crippled, as Maharashtrian slippers became entangled in Shimla’s bumpy roads. This plan was so easy that life became easier. Share this story -tags
