Will put out the fire, save the farm and give the message out of the sky ... People are stunned to see the students' technology!

Will put out the fire, save the field and give a message from the sky … Engineering students created such drones, stunned people by watching technology! Last updated: August 22, 2025, 18:31 IST Bikaner Engineering Student Unique Drone: Bikaner’s Engineering College created a firefighting for Rs 18 Lakh under the guidance of Professor Dr. Dharmendra Singh, who will be useful in agriculture and disaster management. Bikaner. Bikaner’s engineering students and professors together created a unique drone. Which can be used to extinguish fire and save crops. The college professor tried to make it useful by adding new technology to this drone. Cameras, GPS, sensors and lots of software have been installed in this drone, which has been successfully tested. However, more testing will be done so that it can also be useful in many other works. This project was provided to the college for research on the topic of IoT-based firefighting under the TechVIP-3 scheme by the Government of India. Dr. Dharmendra Singh, associate professor in the Mechanical Division, said this project was given to the Engineering College -Bikaner under CRS scheme in Technical Education Improvement Program Phase. A Fund of Rs 21 Lakh was made available for this. In this, the parts of the drone of different places were ordered. The drone that came on Rs 40 lakhs is now ready for only 18 lakh calls. Its purpose is to make the students aware of the latest technology so that they can be ready for the industry. This drone is equipped with many functions, dr. Singh said this drone can fly to a distance of 5 kilometers. It can stay in the air for 15 minutes with fire fighters of 10 kg and is able to extinguish the fire over 20 to 25 square meters. The camera for thermal and IOT devices provides information on the actual status of the temperature. It can also be used to send messages to people through speakers. This drone is also able to sprinkle pesticides in an area of 2 hectares, which will help deal with the grasshopper attack. This project has been successfully tested for research and new opportunities. Not only does it become a medium of research and innovation for students in the laboratory, but it also helps to become skills development and operational delay. In this, new opportunities for employment and placement are offered through students training. Use of agriculture to disaster management will be used in areas such as agriculture, disaster management, logistics, smart city and environmental protection. This can be done to monitor agricultural crops, pesticides and soil uptake. At the same time, it will also be used in the search and rescue and rescue material for disaster management, tools and medical offerings and parcel delivery. It will also be effective to inspect buildings and bridges in civil engineering and 3D mapping.
