While many online reports are currently speculating over who will be taking over ralph fiennes’ role of voldemort in the Harry Potter TV series, a new rumor has suggested the actor is in talks to take on another major villain role – as coriolanus snow in the new Hunger games movie, Sunrise on the Reaping
. However, the news has not been received particularly well by fans, as they believe there is someone much more suited to taking over the role.
Speculation over who could play Several Roles in the Newest Addition to the the Hunger games Franchise has been jangling keyboards in the last few weeks, but according to insider Daniel Richtman, the Incredible Ralph fiennes
is now in talks to take on the major role of the formidable President Snow. While there is little doubt that fiennes could play the role, following his previous villain turn in the Harry Potter Saga, fans have demanded that the role should be kept within the Sutherland family by Going to Donald Sutherland’s Son, Kiefer.
Since Donald Sutherland Immortalized President Snow in the Original Hunger games Trilogy, many want to see the legacy of the character be taken over by someone who could believably play the role, and at the same time pay tribute to the actor, who passed away in 2024. Many believed that, based on the timeline, there could be no better person to play snow. Course, that would rely on him actually want to step into his father’s footsteps.

On the back of X/Twitter posts revening the rumor of fiennes nedering a deal to take on the role, responses to the idea have included comments saying, “We already have a real Sutherland – why not use him?” or “Kieper as Snow would be a perfect homage to the original.” In fact, that is at far the biggest sentiment in the comments, with many not even bothering to share their thoughts on what they feel good would be able to bring to the role.

Like any prequel that looks to replace some well-established actors with Younger versions, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping Has gone through a number of rumored castings. However, in the same report as the news of Fiennes’ Potential appearance, Charlie Plummer is the name that has now come out on top to take over the central role played by Woody Harrelson in the Original Hunger games Trilogy.
Plummer is currently set to star in the upcoming Stephen King Adaptation, The Long Walkwhich itself is directed by long-term Hunger games Helmer Francis Lawrence. Naturally, for now there is no confirmed on any of these castings, but it will not be too long before we get a better idea of who will be taking on some iconic roles in the latest addition to the franchise.
Sunrise on the Reaping is currently set to film later this year, with a release date already set for November 20, 2026. The Success of Last Year’s The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes Proved that there is still plenty of life in the Hunger games Franchise, despite the original movie series coming to an end 10 years ago, and the new movie could well be another popular entry in the saga.
