A six -year -old girl was suddenly attacked, in which the wolf tore her stomach and also caused serious injuries on her hands. The girl was immediately admitted to the district hospital. Doctors said that the girl’s condition is serious and that she needs special treatment. Panic among the locals: There is an atmosphere of panic in the surrounding towns due to the wolf attack. People do not allow children to go out alone and the doors of the house are closed at night. Local resident Ramkumar Yadav said: “Due to the wolf’s arrival in our town, people stopped going out of fear. We expect protection from the administration.” Forest department and police teams are active. A large number of forest division and police teams are operations in search of the wolf. The team monitors the activities of the wolf through cameras and traps in the surrounding forests and fields. The forest department official said that the wolf would probably come to the human settlement in search of food. He called on the residents not to go out alone at night and keep children safe. Increasing attacks in the last few months: Experts believe that wolf attacks have increased in many parts of the district over the past few months. This happens mainly because of deforestation and a lack of their natural prey. The forest division warned that in such cases only acted by experts and trained teams. Response from Local Administration: Saharanpur Deputy Commissioner said that, in light of wolf activities in the district, coordination with the forest division and the police of neighboring districts was increased.
