Woman in West Jakarta has the heart to cut off her husband's genitals until they fall off

Jakarta – A woman in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta (Jakbar), with the initials HZ, was arrested by the police after she seriously assaulted her husband with the initials H. The woman cut her husband’s genitals until they fell off. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Kebon Jeruk Police, AKP Ganda Sibarani, said the action was carried out because the perpetrator was jealous. He said wife HZ saw the content of the conversation (chat) on the victim’s mobile phone with the initials H, so the perpetrator became blindly jealous and carried out the action last Sunday (20/7/2025). “We received a report three days later when the victim was treated at RSCM (Dr Cipto Mangunkusumo National Central General Hospital). We did an investigation into the hospital. It is true, the victim was already in the hospital and we found that the victim’s genitals had been cut off,” Ganda Sibarani said as reported by Antara, Tuesday (21/10). The perpetrator HZ was designated as a suspect for his actions. “We investigated all the witnesses. We went ahead, we raised it to the level of investigation. Then we determined that the woman was the suspect who committed the act,” he said. Based on the results of the investigation, the suspect admitted that he had cut his husband’s genitals with a knife. The action was carried out while the victim was asleep. “The perpetrator carried out the action while the victim was sleeping. So he used a cutting knife,” he added. The victim drove to the nearest hospital after his genitals were cut. In fact, according to Ganda, the victim took his wife, who was also the perpetrator, to the hospital. “So, after the severe assault, the victim immediately rode on the back of the suspect to the nearest health facility. He was then referred to RSCM,” he said. Victim H underwent medical treatment at RSCM but was unfortunately pronounced dead. As a result of his actions, the offender HZ was charged in terms of article 354 of the Penal Code with serious abuse with the threat of a maximum prison sentence of 9 years. “Unfortunately, the victim died 23 days after the incident at RSCM, on August 12, 2025 to be exact,” he added. The police reconstructed the case at the Kebon Jeruk Police Headquarters. The police brought in the perpetrator and a number of witnesses by conducting 18 scenes.
