A woman who observes Karwa Chauth – a Hindu festival that has a tremendous meaning for married women – collapsed during the celebrations in the Karnal of Haryana. The woman, who was stuck to her husband’s well-being and longevity, collapsed and died of heart attack as she danced on a Bollywood number. A video of the incident shows that a group of people – including men and women – dance on a stage in a residential society when the woman in a red Saree suddenly loses balance and collapses. Karwa Chauth was observed across India on October 10, with married women breaking their fast after seeing the moon. Another tragic incident reported in a similar incident by Madhya Pradesh, with a woman observing the Fast death and her husband was seriously injured after a quick Jeep hit their motorcycle in Guna district Madhya Pradesh.
