Depuck – A woman is smashed in a sickle when she buys a chicken in Kelapa Dua, Depok. The hijacking was successfully hampered by an employee of the chicken store after throwing goods to the offenders. The hijacking action was also viral on social media. The viral video narrative mentioned that the victim initially wanted to buy fried chicken. Not long after, a man was wearing a jacket that was immediately covered from behind a sickle at the victim’s neck. The offender asked the victim to hand over his cellphone. However, the hijacking effort established due to the courage of the store employees who threw something to the offenders. The brave actions of the store employee immediately left the offenders the place. He confirmed that the hijacking could be hampered by the store employees. “Based on the seller statement, this was true (the incident),” Cimanggis chief commissioner Jupriono said when he was contacted by reporters on Sunday (2/6/2025). Police checked the crime scene (ICP). There was no loss by the victim. “We have reviewed the crime scene and investigation. There is no loss,” he said. Jupriono said the victim did not make a police report (MP).
