Women's University staff not paid salary for four months, officials assured release before Diwali - hvashcvhds

The entire staff including temporary assistant professors, teaching, non-teaching and HKRN of Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila University have not received salaries for four months. In this regard, when the employees met the Vice Chancellor and other higher officials, they assured that efforts are being made to pay the salaries before Diwali. Due to non-payment of salaries, all the employees are going through a financial crisis and this will also have a negative impact on their preparations for the Diwali festival. Impact on Livelihood and Mental Health: According to Dr. Suman Ranga, President of Temporary Assistant Professor Association of BPS Mahila University, Vice President Dr. Vijay Malik, Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Dr. Dinesh, Dr. Anju, Dr. Amit, teachers and non-teaching staff are facing serious financial problems due to non-payment of July, August, October and September salaries. This adversely affected their livelihood as well as their mental health. Urge to release salaries It has become extremely difficult for employees to meet family obligations, loan payments, children’s education, medical bills and daily household needs. Due to non-payment of medical bills for five months, the employees suffering from the disease or their family members are very worried. The employees again requested the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Finance Officer to release the pending salaries of all teaching and non-teaching employees.
