World Athletics Championship: Ninebaur won gold medal at Decathalon despite pain

Tokyo, September 21 (IANS). German runner -up Leo Dhawagabaur won a gold medal in the 1,500 meter race in Decathalon’s final event despite the pain. After completing the race, NiegeBur lies on the track itself. The authorities took out a wheelchair for them when the 2024 Olympic silver medalist could not move. But Neaugabaur joined himself. He said, “I’ve never felt as bad as I felt after the last race, but I didn’t want to leave the track on the wheelchair.” With a time of 4 minutes 31.89 seconds, he scored a total of 8,804 points, and passed Puerto Rico’s Iden Owens Deleme (8,784) and American Kail Garland (8,703). Niklas Kaul of former world champion Germany finished fourth. Neoubaur climbed the position to embrace his mother Diana and Father Terence. Neaugabaur was born in Gorlitz and grew up in the Stutgart, and grew up in a sports -loving family. His father, who once liked football, encouraged him to try his hand in athletics. From the age of 15 he focuses on track and field. As a result of this decision, he received admission in the University of Texas, Austin on Scholarship, where he studied economics and training. This 2.01 -meter athlete is familiar with that of ‘Leo the German’, and earned his fame for the combination of talent and tireless hard work.
