World Bank's Beti project empowered on micro -level women -owners

World Bank India information was given on Wednesday, and it was reported that the Business Enterprise Technology for Indian Woman of the World Bank at micro -level women in the country trained in digital instruments and financial management, which enabled them to start her own business. The pilot project trained women in Gujarat to use mobile apps and manage their finances in collaboration with service (self -planned women’s association), one of the largest organizations in the world. World Bank India, which shares a post on social media platform X, said: “Women’s entrepreneurs at micro-level in Gujarat use mobile apps to manage business. She was trained by the World Bank and the Service Portal for Financial Management and Market Access by the World Bank and Service Sports.” The World Bank said in a blog post that the project is an extension of the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative launched by Premier Narendra Modi. The Beti project added the dimension of ‘Beti Kamao’ to focus on the fact that women were financially empowered. The project supports the development of women as entrepreneurs and employees in the country. The blog post reads: “The empowerment of women entrepreneurs is an economic priority that will benefit the economy of India.” The pilot project operated in four districts of Gujarat, Mehsana, Ahmedabad, Anand and Bodeli, equipped women with mobile equipment to improve their accounting, stock and loan better management and sell products for better management and selling. Digital instruments have helped them get a better understanding of basic business concepts such as revenue, costs and profits. However, there are some challenges about the project. According to the blog post, smartphones are not accessible to very small female traders. There are many women who are full of new techniques. Especially about the information related to her business, she does not trust these devices.
