World Para Athletics Championships 2025: Minister of Union Mansukh Mandavia assessed preparations

New -Delhi, September 23 (IANS). The World Championships for Athletics Para held for the first time in the capital is now only two days left in 2025. In such a situation, the Union Youth program and Mansukh Mandavia, Minister of Sport, visited Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and the preparations on Tuesday. It is a new chapter in India’s ability to organize such large -scale global competitions, further strengthening the country’s position as the center of international sports center. The Minister of State and Youth Affairs Raksha Khadse with Mandavia also joined the meeting and athletes. Several senior officials of the local organizing committee, Paralympic Committee (PCI) and the Ministry of Sport also attended the inspection. Mansukh Mandavia made a detailed tour through the stadium, which includes areas such as recognition centers, medical centers, newly built hot -ups and main mouth tracks, which he inaugurated on August 29, 2025. The hosts will compete for a total of 73 para-athletes from the country. Dr Mandavia said during the inspection: “India has emerged as a reliable place to present the most important international sporting events under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership. His belief that the world is a family inspires us to bring athletes around the world to the Indian earth.” He added: “With the participation of more than 100 countries, it is not only the largest para-athletic event organized by India, but also shows our ability, rich culture and our dedication to sports.
