Sylvester Stallone wanted to use AI to play young Rambo in Prequel, says 'Everyone thought I was crazy'
Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone revealed that he once gave the idea to use AI to play a younger version of John Rambo in a potential prequel to the legendary action -franchise. Sylvester Stallone about the will of a young Rambo using AI during a discussion on the Bingeworthy-Podcast of the playlist, the ‘Tulsa King’ actor explained that his concept would contain an 18-year-old Rambo, with the aging technology that could re-replace him. “Everyone thought I was crazy,” Stallone said about the field. ‘AI is sophisticated enough to go through Saigon to see him at the age of 18 and use basically the same image. So it’s not such a big piece. ‘ Stallone’s plan would have taken a step back in the Rambo timeline, rather than continuing from the Rambo: Last Blood of 2019. Instead of transferring the torch to another actor, he personally envisaged a young Rambo using AI -assisted withdrawal. However, reports indicate that Noah Centineo will now play Rambo in an upcoming Prequel movie. Stallone reflected on the challenge of another actor who takes on a role he made iconic. “It’s very, very difficult. He can do an excellent job, but you overcome it because I went through it with Get Carter, ‘Stallone said, referring to his experience in the 2000 brake business. “Everyone likes the original, and then you always fight that bias.” The actor has been involved in discussions on the Rambo franchise for several years. In 2022, he told the Hollywood Reporter that a prequel ‘is’ close’, and he shared some ideas on how the project could explore the early life of the character. Stallone’s willingness to embrace AI technology shows both his desire to innovate in the franchise and his ongoing commitment to the character that made him a world star.
