Xi Chinfing started a state visit to Cambodia

Beijing, April 17 (IANS). Chinese President Xi Chinfing arrived on a state tour at the invitation of King Norodam Sihamani of Cambodia. Once his special plane ended up at Nom Penh International Airport, King Sihamani gave him a great welcome. The reception was attended by a member of the royal family, Hun Sen, president of the Cambodian People’s Party and President of the Senate, Chem Yeb, including the first Vice President of the National Assembly, Chem Yeb. A large reception was held at the airport in honor of XI Chinfing. On this occasion President XI wishes the people of Cambodia and the government the traditional Cambodia year through a written speech. He said that the establishment of the relations of China Cambodia was laid by the previous leaders of the two countries. This relationship has met the test of time and is firmly in every changing international situation. Xi Chinfing said the two countries worked together on the creation of a shared future bilateral community and the Belt and Road initiative. They supported each other’s development, stability and prosperity and raised their voice for fairness and justice at international level. Together, China and Cambodia set an example of new types of international relations and also contributed to building a common future of humanity. He further said that he is expected to find new possibilities of shared development with Cambodian leadership, to further enrich the ‘diamond hexalary’ collaborative structure, strengthen strategic partnerships, ensure more benefits for the people of both countries and to contribute positively to regional and worldwide peace and stability.
