Chinese technical giant Xiaomi introduced its new flagship smartphone, Xiaomi 17. The company launched it during its latest hardware event. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Generation 5 processor, recently launched in Snapdragon Summit 2025. The phone has Leica-Tund camera and a premium design. The display and design telephone has a 6.3-inch 1.5k Oled screen with an update speed of 120Hz and the peak-brightness of 3,500 knitwear. The screen is smooth and sharp, and it also supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision and DCI-P3 color. The special thing is that the ring is only 1.18 mm thin, which makes it even more impressive. Processor and Performance Xiaomi 17 New Snapdragon 8 Elite generation is powered by 5 slide set, based on 3pm technology and offers up to 4.6 GHz quickly. It has LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It also comes with the company’s new Hyperos 3 and Hyperi tools, which improve the phone performance and AI functions. For the camera setup photography, it has a triple camera setup of Leica-Tund. This includes a primary lens of 50 MP, 50mp telephoto lens and an ultravide lens of 50mp. The front also has a 50mp selfie camera. The phone supports video recording of up to 8K, which offers excellent photos and video quality. The biggest feature of the powerful 7,000 mAh battery is the 7,000 mAh battery, which is considered a compact phone quite large. It supports 100W wiring loading and 50w wireless loading. The company claims that the new Xiaomi Surge Battery technology has improved the battery life and the loading speed of the phone. For connectivity and connection to building quality, it has WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB 3.2 Type-C port. This phone is an IP68 rating, that is, it is protected from water and fabric. Its weight is just 191 grams and its thickness is about 8 mm, making it light and thin. Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max Company also introduced Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. Both models are equipped with double screens, large batteries and more advanced features. Pro Max has a 7500mah battery. Both models also support 100w fast loading and 50w wireless loading. Price and availability Xiaomi 17’s 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variants are about £ 56,000. The 12 GB + 512 GB variant is available in approximately £ 60,000 and 16 GB + 512 GB variant is available for around £ 62,000. This smartphone is not currently available in India. The pro -model of Xiaomi 17 can be purchased at the company’s online store in China in Black, white, purple and green, while Xiaomi 17 can be bought in blue, black, white and pink. The Xiaomi 17 series has become one of the most spoken smartphones this year because of the thin design, powerful battery, latest slate set and Leica camera.
