An Iranian quartet breaks a record and holds the gold medal in the Paralympic weightlifting competition in Paris 2024 :: Noroose – ryan

On the tenth day of the 17th Paralympic Games in Paris, the Iranian Quartet, Ali Akbar Gharib Shahi, faced the 107 kg category in the weightlifting competition competitors from the Emirates, Brazil, Malaysia, America, Japan, Mexico, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

Gharib Shahi, who holds 4 world championships and one gold in Asian games, also starred in Paralympic weightlifting competitions in Paris 2024, signing the record twice when he succeeded in raising the weight of 247 kg and then weighing 252 kg to score the new world number (252 kg) in his name.

While the Mongolian Quartet won the silver medal and the bronze medal of the Mexico representative went to this category.

Thus, the Iranian sports mission has so far gained its 7 medal in the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.
