In an effort to improve the cleanliness along large transport routes, the National Highways Authority of India (Nhai) has launched a special incentive -driven special driving force that encourages commuters to report unheated toilets to Toll Plazas. In return, Nhai promised to assign £ 1,000 to users who see dirty facilities, which will be credited directly on their Fastag accounts. The scheme applies to October 31, 2025, on all the national highways of India. How Fastag users can earn £ 1,000 by reporting dirty toilets -download the latest version of the Rajmargyatra app. -Take a clear, geo-labeled photos of dirty toilets at Toll Plazas under Nhai jurisdictions, along with timing stamps. – Apply details on the app, including the name of the user, mobile number and vehicle registration number (VRN). – Each VRN that successfully reports that dirty toilets are eligible for £ 1,000, which will be credited on the Fastag account of the user. Conditions to make the drive fair, efficient and transparent, Nhai specified certain rules and restrictions, which are as follows: – The drive only applies to toilets built, operating or maintaining by Nhai. As a result, other toilets along highways, such as in Dhabas, fuel stations or other public places, are excluded from the scheme. – Each VRN is eligible for only one reward of £ 1,000 for the entire duration of the scheme. – Regardless of the number of reports, rewards for each toilet facility are given only once a day. If several users report the same toilet, only the first valid image for the reward will be considered. – Images used to report toilets must be captured by the Rajmargyatra. Manipulated, duplicated, dated or previously reported images will be rejected. How the screening process reports submitted to the Nhai will undergo Ai-assisted verification, followed by manual verification where necessary.
