(Photo by handout / Ukrainian presidential press service / AFP) (AFP) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday accused Russia of “testing” the NATO counseling after a Russian Drone entered the Romanian airspace during an attack on the Ukraine. Romania, a NATO and EU member, strongly condemned the Drone invasion and called Russia’s ambassador Vladimir Lipaev to Bucharest. The Foreign Ministry said it had filed a ‘strong protest’ over the ‘unacceptable and irresponsible act’ that violated Romania’s sovereignty and posed a ‘new challenge’ for the safety of black seawa. The Ministry of Romanian Defense confirmed that the Drone was a Russian Geran model that entered its airspace on Saturday, which flocked for almost 50 minutes before returning to Ukraine. Officials emphasized that the drone does not fly over populated areas and posed no immediate threat to civilians. Jets Scrambled, allies, help Romania to scramble two F-16 fighter aircraft to locate the drone, supported by two German Eurofigter typhone, the ministry said. Supervision confirmed the flight path of the drone of the northeastern village of Chilia Veche south of Izmail before leaving near Pardina. A broader escalation fears that the incident comes just days after Poland said he shot Russian drones that violate his airspace. Poland exposed the offenses as ‘provocations’, with fighter jets on Saturday amid Russian strikes near its border. Zelensky warned that Moscow’s actions emphasized a deliberate attempt to expand the war outside of Ukraine. “Everyone can see that the Russians are investigating how to bring the war to Poland and the Baltic states. The Russian army also tests Romania, ‘he said in his nocturnal speech. The EU and NATO reaction to the European Union, Kaja Kallas, called the offense a ‘reckless’ escalation and said that it is ‘another unacceptable violation of the sovereignty of an EU member state’. She confirmed Solidarity with Romania and said she was in close contact with the government. Romania’s Foreign Minister Oana Toiu has announced that she will come up at the UN General Assembly, with a strict compliance with international sanctions. Moscow has not yet commented on the Romanian incident, but has previously denied that he is targeting Poland.
