France's Rafale To Be "Made In India" Soon: Reports | Spotlight

India is all set to build French Rafale fighter jets on its home soil, as per reports. The deal is reportedly going to cost around Rs 3.25 lakh crore for buying 114 Rafale fighter jets from France, which would be manufactured in India with an indigenous content of around 30 per cent. The deal, which is set to be one of India’s largest aircraft procurement deals, will include the delivery of 18 Rafale jets to India in fly-away condition, while the rest will be made in India. This deal will boost India’s air defence as well as domestic manufacturing.
