Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme is inspired by the real-life story of Marty Reisman, a 1950s New York table tennis hustler whose relentless pursuit of greatness turns obsession into a high-stakes journey of ambition, risk, and survival. Set against the gritty backdrop of downtown New York, the film blends sport, crime, and thriller elements with Safdie’s signature kinetic storytelling.
