Project "Nightfall": UK to Develop Long-Range Ballistic Missile for Ukraine | Firstpost America

Britain has announced plans to develop a latest long-range ballistic missile for Ukraine under a project called Nightfall, as the war with Russia continues and peace talks remain stalled. The missile will be ground-launched, carry a 200-kilogram warhead, and strike targets more than 500 kilometres away. It can be fired from multiple vehicles and relocated quickly to avoid retaliation. British firms have been given a year to deliver test missiles. The UK has also committed fresh funding to prepare its forces for possible deployment in Ukraine. The move reflects stronger Western backing for Kyiv amid ongoing fighting and stalled diplomacy.
