केंद्रीय कार्मिक एवं प्रशिक्षण विभाग (डीओपीटी) ने यूपी में पीसीएस से आईएएस पदोन्नति के लिए नौ पद और बढ़ा दिए हैं। पहले से 18 पद रिक्त हैं। इस तरह से इन 9 पदों को मिलाकर अब आईएएस के 27 पदों पर पदोन्नति के लिए डीपीसी होगी।
