2 Bodies of Terra Drone Building Fire Victims Repatriated, Including Pregnant Women
Jakarta – Three bodies of victims of the Terra Drone building fire in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, have been identified. Two of the bodies were returned this evening. “We will hand over these two first because one family has not yet arrived, namely the families of the victims Rufaidha and Novia, we will hand them over tonight,” Karumkit RS Polri Brigadier General Prima Heru told reporters on Tuesday (9/12/2025). Prima said the bodies returned tonight were in the name of Rufaidha and a pregnant woman named Novia. Rufaidha Lathiifunnisa, female, 22 years old, identified based on fingerprints, medical records and property2. Novia Nurwana, female, 28 years old, identified based on fingerprints, teeth, medical and property3. Joga Valdier Yaseer, male, 28 years old, identified based on fingerprints, teeth, medical and property. As is known, residents reported the fire to fire officials at 12.43 WIB. The total death toll from this fire incident was 22 people, consisting of 15 women and 7 men. The fuel source came from a battery. Firefighters (damkar) suspect that the fire at the Terra Drone building, Central Jakarta, originated from a lithium battery. This fire killed 22 people. “Still investigating. Because it is a lithium battery type, below, it may need to be re-evaluated,” Head of the DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat), Bayu Megantara, said in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (9/12). Bayu said that employees tried to extinguish the fire with five light fire extinguishers (APAR). However, these efforts were unsuccessful and the smoke grew thicker. “The information we received was that we were trying to put it out with APAR.
