Gold still takes off with improving the appetite for risk

Gold still takes off with improving the appetite for risk

Gold has decreased after two weeks in a row of losses, with the slowdown in demand due to the prevailing ‘risk demand for risk’, at a time when US administration is trying to conclude commercial agreements with several countries before a deadline that will be resolved on July 9. The precious metal decreased by 0.8% in early Asian trade, before it reduced some of its losses, while investors made the progress at the level of trading level. ‘Bloomberg’ reported on Friday that the European Union and the United States believe that a kind of trade agreement can be reached on time, while talks with India, Japan and many other countries continue. Bloomberg also said the United States is nearby to reach agreements with Mexico and Vietnam. However, universal agreements, the only two previous agreements for President Donald Trump, with China and the United Kingdom, may be an indication that the new agreements will not be comprehensive enough to resolve fundamental issues, and that they can leave many details to negotiate later. Gold has been up 25% since the beginning of the year, and traded at a level of about $ 230 from the highest record level in April, with the support of the demand for safe havens in light of the escalation of geopolitical and commercial tensions. However, Gold is on his way to recording the first monthly decline in 2025, with concerns about the conflict in the Middle East, and the improvement of consumer confidence indicators and inflation expectations in the United States. Prices and anticipation of US tax The immediate gold price fell 0.2% to $ 3,269.16 per gram at 08:24 in Singapore. The immediate “Bloomberg” index of the dollar dropped 0.1%. The prices of silver and Albadium also dropped, while platinum rose. Investors also focus on the Trump Bill to reduce $ 4.5 billion value, and are present to the Senate, at a time when Republicans try to persuade hesitation to support him for permanently, with the possibility to vote until Monday. The volume of the cost of the draft law is a major problem for financially conservative current, amid fear that it will increase the deficit more.

“Slap In Graduate’s Face”: Cricketer Rinku Singh’s Appointment as Basic Education Officer in UP Sparks debate online | Today news

“Slap In Graduate’s Face”: Cricketer Rinku Singh’s Appointment as Basic Education Officer in UP Sparks debate online | Today news

Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, best known for his IPL heroism and a gold medal victory in the 2022 Asian Games, will be appointed in Uttar Pradesh as a basic education officer (BSA). But the news, instead of unanimous applause, caused a wave of criticism online, with many people questioning how someone who allegedly failed Class 9 could be handed over such an important teaching position. It is alleged that a notice of Rinku’s appointment was issued by the Director of Basic Education in Uttar Pradesh, with formalities currently underway. His choice is processed under the international medal winner Direct Recruitment Rules 2022, whereby athletes who brought international glory to the country can be appointed directly in certain posts. However, several users on X did not hold back their concerns. “Look at the accident of our Uttar Pradesh, Rinku Singh, who has no connection with education, the basic education officer is made. If they wanted to honor him, they could have done something in the field of sports,” one user wrote. ‘Making a 9th failure of the school Rinku Singh, the basic education officer in UP, is a slap on every face of each graduate. Appoint him to sports or youth matters where he truly belongs and can contribute, ‘asked another. What is a basic education officer? A basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA) serves as the government level representative of the Government for Basic Education, which ensures the implementation of state policies and the monitoring of schools. It is a group B (Gazetted) post, which is typically filled by the State Commission examination, and needs at least a graduation ceremony. Rinku’s alleged lack of formal education – according to reports failed in class 9 and no further continuing – added the controversy. According to ETV Bharat, the cricketer did not complete the school and focused entirely on his cricket career. Internet responds supporters of the move argue that the policy is intended to honor athletes and to provide safe government roles. However, critics feel that such appointments are carefully similar to appropriate departments. “If we have to reward him, he gives a sports-related post-not one in education,” one user wrote on X. “It’s like appointing a cricketer as a chief medical officer. Makes no sense, ‘said another. What the post involves reported, Rinku Singh will earn a monthly salary of around £ 56,000, along with the government’s grants and benefits. The role comes with considerable responsibility, including supervision of school infrastructure, recruitment of teachers and educational quality at grassroots level. While the final appointment is still being processed, one thing is clear – the internet remains deeply divided. For many, this is a celebration of sports performance. For others, it is a wake -up call about the holiness of education and the qualifications needed to lead it.

Supreme Court Judge Dipankar Datta warns against ‘external powers’ that impede judicial appointments | Today news

Supreme Court Judge Dipankar Datta warns against ‘external powers’ that impede judicial appointments | Today news

The Supreme Court Judge Justice Dipankar Datta on Saturday called on strict action against ‘external powers’ that impede judicial appointments, which challenges the widespread belief that judges decide only appointments under the Collegium system. The Apex Court judge addressed the ‘critics’ of the ‘Collegium System’. Misconceptions about judges who appoint judges who address critics of the Collegium system during a criminal ceremony for Chief Justice of India, Bhushan Gavai, organized by the Supreme Court Advocate Association in Nagpur, justice dipankar datta said: The Supreme Court judge highlighted delays in the implementation of Collegium recommendations, referring to his own experience as a member of the Calcutta High Court College in 2019. If judges were appointed, the judges would appoint, ‘he said. ” Why is this happening? No one questions it. ‘ Call for transparency and strict action Justice Datta has called on Chief Justice of India Bhushan Gavai to eliminate misconceptions and bring more transparency into the collegium system. “Sir, it is an appeal to you, it is high time that we have the misconited idea that judges appoint judges. Critics of the Collegium system are noisy, why should there be a college system? ‘ Livelaw quoted the Supreme Court judge. He further emphasized: “Therefore, the external powers that prevent the collegium recommendations should be handled strictly, and I feel that the pending proceedings must receive the highest priority to ensure that merit, earnings and merit are considered and not the strange considerations.” The reflection on the pre-collegium system, Justice Datta, is reminiscent of the 1980s pre-collegium era, pointing out how three chief judges of the Bombay High Court Mn Chandurkar, Chittadosh Moerterje and PD Desai-the chief were seen for the Supreme Court despite their merit. “Those who practice in front of these main judges and even others will know that they are no less than the judges who came to the Supreme Court in the 1980s,” he said. ‘Does anyone question the pre-collegium system? We only refer to the super session of these three judges by a judge in 1974 just before the Kesavananda Bharati ruling and then the SuperSess of Justice HR Khanna by the next Supreme Court Judge. But why doesn’t anyone question why CJ Chandurkar, CJ Moerterje or CJ Desai couldn’t make it to the Supreme Court? Justice Datta noted that the Collegium system was criticized for the opacity of the CJI Gavai’s leadership, and the progress to greater transparency acknowledged that the collegium system had been criticized for its opacity. “I would say from the opacity the system is now translucent, but Mr. among you expects that there must be a transparent process, and as you repeatedly said that there is no compromise on merit, there must be attached.” In response to these concerns, CJI Gavai quoted the recent appointment of Justice Atul Chandurkar, the senior master of the Bombay High Court, as “a living example of transparency in the college system.” He said: “We follow transparency, we work with the candidates and find that interactions work out. We have tried to maintain seniority and merit.” Maintaining judicial principles amid activism deals with justice DATTA has also addressed the developing role of judicial activism and warned against its extravagance. “Sometimes activism progresses to judicial adventurism and if it is further too much, critics say that it amounts to judicial terrorism,” Livelaw quoted that Justice Dipankar Datta.
