They found painted gray pottery and two-thousand-year-old clay toys, including humped bulls. He said that the painted gray pottery shows a three thousand year old civilization. It is clear from this that Khandwari is a legacy of the Mahabharata period. Humped bull toys have been found in early times. Remove Advertisement Only Read News Dr. Ujjain resident Kewalia said that he visited Western UP. Continuously coming to Baghpat since 2018. Sinauli did his PhD on the site. Have visited Lakshagriha, Kurdi, Bamnauli etc many times before. After getting information about antiquities found in Khandwari on internet media, MA students came here along with Harshit on Friday morning around 10 am and toured till 2 pm. Like Lakshagrih and other villages of Barnawa, painted gray ware i.e. painted gray pottery was found in Khandwari. Gupta or Uttar Gupta is a structure made of bricks, which we cannot even clearly call a well. There has been human habitation here for a long time, evidence of which has been found. On the other hand, not only Sisana, people from the surrounding area kept coming and going to Khandwari throughout the day. Their demand is that the excavation should start soon. — Khandwari came into limelight in the unpopulated village of Khandwari situated between Baghpat and Sisana. During the illegal exploitation of land, people saw the shape of the temple. On October 27, the youth made a video from a mobile phone and broadcast it on the Internet media. The worship started from the morning of October 28. During this period bones, pottery, coins and other antiquities were found. When the matter came into limelight, a three-member team of the Archaeological Survey of India reached Khandwari from Meerut on the morning of October 29 and searched an area of over two km. Reached the temple and saw the locked tunnel which is said to be used by Pandavas. Antiquities were taken into possession. ASI found in the preliminary investigation that the brick shape seen here is not a temple but a well of the Gupta period.

The government did not ignore the drop in oil prices and the increase in the price of the oil

He pointed out that the price committee depends on the average prices during the past three months instead of immediate fluctuations, which means that the effect of the recent drop in oil prices was not reflected in the price equation.

Many oil experts confirmed that the government’s decision to increase the price of gasoline and diesel to the pound, despite the drop in international oil prices and the improvement in the price of the Egyptian pound, is due to internal financial and structural pressures and government obligations that exceed the immediate effects of international factors.

Three reporters confirmed that recent positive factors were not enough to push the government towards price increases, as Egypt’s energy system still faces challenges related to rising import costs and debt accumulation in the oil and electricity sectors, in addition to the International Monetary Fund’s commitment to gradually reduce energy subsidies.

The government did not ignore the drop in oil prices and the increase in the price of the oil

And the economic expert Wael al-Nahhas said that the government did not ignore the drop in oil prices and the rise in the value of the currency, but instead used the positive factors to reduce its height.

He confirmed that the allocations for the energy support are defined in advance and cannot be exceeded. Therefore, any improvement in the indicators is aimed at reducing the financial burden, not lowering the prices.

The current policy aims to implement progressive prices

Al-Nahas explained that the current policy aims to apply gradual prices that reflect real costs, taking into account the economic situation, instead of returning to fuel subsidies.

He confirmed that an improvement in the exchange rate or oil prices will not reverse this trend.

Muhammad Fouad, the economic expert and member of the political office of the Justice Party, explained that the increase in prices during this period is more of an economic decision than a political one.

Al-Sayed Fahad explained that the system suffers from a structural problem, represented by the accumulation of oil and electricity debts and the decrease in local production of derivatives, which led to an increase in dependence on imports and direct exposure to the prices of international currencies.

He added that this situation puts pressure on the monetary balance of payments and security, which leads to higher support costs.

Therefore, it is necessary to raise fuel prices more than ever before to reduce the price gap and reduce pressure on the public budget.

Bihar Elections: Story of changing equations in Sasaram, history is interesting

Bihar Elections: Story of changing equations in Sasaram, history is interesting

Patna, October 31 (IANS). Sasaram of Bihar, which was once the capital of Sher Shah Suri, today has its own identity in the politics of the state. In the 16th century, Sher Shah Suri defeated the Mughal emperor Humayun and seized power, making Sasaram the capital of the Sur dynasty. His reign is considered a glorious era in Indian administrative history. The foundations of the taxation system, postal services and landmark projects such as the Grand Trunk Road (GT road) were laid on this land. Sasaram was made the headquarters of Rohtas district in 1972. It was created in 1972 by splitting it from the old Shahabad district. This historically and culturally rich area is still considered the center of politics, education and social consciousness of Bihar. There is a high literacy rate here, but despite this this assembly constituency is still not untouched by caste voting tendencies. This assembly seat falls under Sasaram Lok Sabha constituency, which is reserved for scheduled castes (SC). This Lok Sabha constituency consists of a total of 6 assembly constituencies, of which 3 are located in Sasaram district and 3 in Kaimur district. Sasaram assembly constituency is completely of general category but politically the Kushwaha (Kuri) community has had the maximum influence here. From 1980 to 2015, that is, during about 35 years, almost all the MLAs who were elected or became runners-up from this seat were from this community. Electoral history shows that voters in Sasaram prefer caste identity to party or ideology. Apart from this, Bhumihar, Yadav, Dalit and Muslim voters also have a significant share, giving a new twist to the equation in every election. Sasaram Assembly was established in 1957 and till now 17 assembly elections have been held here. Parties belonging to the Samajwadi stream (Samyukt Socialist Party, Janata Dal, JDU etc.) have won 10 times. Apart from this, BJP won 5 times, while Congress won 2 times. The Congress could not create its permanent support base in this area. Since 2000, this seat has become the center of a tight contest between BJP and RJD. The BJP has won three times in a row, but the RJD emerged victorious in both the 2015 and 2020 elections. In 2020, RJD candidate Rajesh Kumar Gupta confirmed RJD’s dominance by defeating Ashok Kumar of JDU. However, the BJP has taken the lead in the same constituency in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, suggesting that the political tide may turn again in Sasaram. According to the data released by the Election Commission in 2024, the total population of Sasaram is 6,09,797. Of these, 3,12,484 are men and 2,97,313 are women. The total number of voters is 3,57,849. The voters include 1,85,909 men, 1,71,934 women and 6 third genders. Historically and administratively rich, Sasaram still faces many challenges. The condition of roads and irrigation facilities is poor. There is dissatisfaction in rural areas about education and health infrastructure. Issues of employment and migration remain persistent. The problem of water logging and cleanliness around the city are also included in the local election issues. –IANS PSK/ABM
