New Delhi, November 1 (IANS). Now, further hearing in the case of attack on Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta will be held in the sessions court. The magistrate’s court on Saturday transferred the charge sheet filed against accused Rajesh Bhai Khimji to the sessions court. The court ordered that in view of the seriousness of the case, further hearing should be held in the sessions court. Now the next hearing of this case will be held on November 10 in the Tis Hazari Court of Delhi. Actually, this case is from August 20, when CM Rekha Gupta held a public hearing at her official residence. Meanwhile, Gujarat resident Rajesh Khimji suddenly attacked him. The security personnel present at the spot caught the accused immediately. After the incident of attack, FIR was registered at Civil Lines Police Station. Rajesh Khimji said during preliminary interrogation that he was angry about the issue of stray dogs and that is why he attacked. During investigation, it also came to light that Rajesh Khimji’s associate Syed Tasheen Raza was involved in this attack. According to the police, Syed helped Rajesh plan the attack. The police have collected all the necessary evidence against the accused and the entire investigation of the case has almost been completed. Now the further legal process will be completed in the sessions court, where both the accused will be presented. The magistrate’s court kept in mind the seriousness of the case while ordering the transfer of the charge sheet to the sessions court. The charge sheet contains serious allegations such as assaulting the accused, obstructing action before security forces and conspiracy.
