A unique wedding video is going viral in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. The bride is sitting in the car and in her hand is a photograph of Bhimrao Ambedkar, the creator of the Constitution. The bride reached the wedding hall with this photo and then got married. This marriage became a topic of discussion in the area. What’s the whole deal? This incident happened in Naugaon of Chhatarpur. The wedding season is underway and the bride’s family usually welcomes the wedding rituals and the groom takes the wedding procession in a car accompanied by drums. On the contrary, the incident took place in Chhatarpur district of Bundelkhand. Here the bride reached the wedding hall with the photo of the Constitution maker Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar and then got married. Videos of these marriage rituals are going viral on social media. Who was Bhimrao Ambedkar? Bhimrao Ambedkar is also known as Babasaheb. He was a great Indian social reformer, jurist, economist, politician and the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. He was born in a Dalit family in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He studied at Columbia University, New York and the London School of Economics, which was a great achievement for a Dalit boy at that time. He was the chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee. Fed up with the casteism found in Hinduism, he along with millions of others in Nagpur converted to Buddhism on 14 October 1956. He was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna in 1990. Babasaheb Ambedkar fought for the rights of Dalits and devoted his entire life to ensuring their social dignity.
