Lucknow, December 6 (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a grand announcement on Saturday on the Mahaparinirvan Day of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. In a program conducted by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Mahasabha Trust was organized, CM Yogi said that some mischievous elements often try to damage the statues, therefore our government in Uttar Pradesh is going to take an important decision that wherever the statues of Baba Saheb are installed, arrangements will be made to protect those bound statues by building. Besides, a canopy will also be installed over the idols, which will ensure the safety of the idol of Baba Saheb. CM Yogi referred to the statement of Dr. Nirmal, in which he said that class IV, contract and sanitation workers should be given proper honorarium. CM Yogi said that our government has formed the corporation. Within the next one or two months, the government will provide guarantee of minimum honorarium to class IV, contract and sanitation workers. Zero Poverty campaign is also a part of it. Even now, work is being done for those who were deprived and could not make use of the facilities. The work of identifying the poor belonging to scheduled castes, tribes and extremely backward classes has almost been completed. For some, ration and pension cards are made, while others are provided with amenities. Those who do not have housing or Ayushman card will also get housing and Ayushman facility of Rs 5 lakh. No poor or destitute person will remain destitute. The twin engine government is working to provide it with all the amenities. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that we feel proud of the Constitution and Baba Saheb. Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar made us aware of the dangers even at that time. Referring to the senior Congress leader, CM Yogi said that while he was the President, he refused to sing Vande Mataram in 1923. When his last moments came, he expressed his wish to die in Jerusalem. Then Baba Saheb observed that the statement of a person who, despite being born in India and enjoying the comforts here, does not regard the land of India as sacred, can never be in the interest of the people of India. The parties following the policy of appeasement are not only harming India but also insulting Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and are also making malicious attempts to deprive the citizens of their facilities. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that today is an inspiration day for all. Baba Saheb worked hard to reach the heights of the sky from the ground. They struggled with challenges, faced difficulties and overcame the society bound by the traditional inequalities of social discrimination and provided opportunities to millions of underprivileged, Dalits and backward classes to lead a dignified life. Mahaparinirvan day is a ceremony to express gratitude to him. CM Yogi said that campaigns, inspired by the teachings of Baba Saheb, are going on in the country under the leadership of PM Modi. When Baba Saheb made the Constitution of India, he fulfilled his responsibilities as the architect of the Constitution. Three important words (justice, equality and brotherhood) were kept in the preamble. With the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Prime Minister Modi made the benefits of the schemes available to every needy, Dalit, poor, backward, woman and youth without any discrimination. The poor can get ration, the needy can get houses, toilets can be built in every poor house and the best health facilities can be provided. Wherever there is a house, the provision of ownership rights there by Gharauni is also part of justice, equality and brotherhood. Such campaigns are launched to connect with the mainstream of society. CM Yogi said that whatever facilities and prosperity is achieved today, it happens because of the inspiration of Baba Saheb. The new India under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi respects great men with a sense of pride. Panchatirtha construction, other facilities including scholarships for scheduled caste, tribal, backward and Dalit students are also part of the same order. CM said that steps are being taken to connect every slum, Dalit, scheduled caste and tribal settlement with connectivity. Still, if anything remains, it will be fully committed. CM said that Baba Saheb’s philosophy of life gives new inspiration. He assured every poor, Dalit and deprived citizen that, inspired by the inspiration of Baba Saheb, the twin car government will work diligently to empower the society and the nation and restore the glory of the Constitution of India. –IANS wicket/sk
