Bhagalpur, October 31 (IANS). The administration has completely woken up regarding the Bihar assembly elections. In this series, the district administration team conducted a surprise inspection and raid campaign in the Special Central Jail, Bhagalpur on Friday morning at around 5 am. Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Vikas Kumar, Land Reforms Deputy Collector (Sadar) Apeksha Modi, and Sub-Divisional Police Officer (City-01) Ajay Kumar Chaudhary jointly led this drive. During this time, a sufficient number of police forces, including the local police station chiefs, were also present. The raiding team conducted a detailed inspection of various parts of the jail complex, prisoner barracks, mess, security post and administrative rooms. During the entire operation, the administration ensured that no objectionable or prohibited items were present in the prison and the possibility of any suspicious activity was strictly checked. The purpose of this surprise raid was to strengthen the security and discipline of the prison premises during the assembly elections and to stop any unwanted element or activity. During the inspection, the officials reviewed the security arrangements, discipline and administrative system with the prison administration and issued the necessary guidelines.
