The government has set up an inquiry committee into the issue of making, selling and issuing fake degree marks from Monad University. Joint Secretary of Higher Education Division-1 of the Uttar Pradesh Government constituted a committee chaired by the District Magistrate to investigate this fraud. In this case, the DM will record the statements of the general public on Friday at 10 am in the room of the Vice-Chancellor of So University. Any person who has any information about this matter or who was the victim of their fraud can record his statement before the DM. Based on the above statements, the DM will prepare his investigation report and send it to the government. The university started this business during the Covid period itself. In the STF investigation, evidence was found that maximum grades were sold to the youth of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Maharashtra. More than one lakh degrees were sold in these states. Market states were sold to the youth. The rate of degrees is determined according to the needs of the people. The maximum degrees sold in Bihar are MA and B.Ed. Evidence was also found that some grades were sold for up to Rs 10 lakh. There were indications that the number of accused in this case was more than a hundred. Fake grades and transcripts were made from Monad and sold to the youth. According to STF officials, the investigation so far has revealed that fake degrees of Monad were sold to the youth of nine states. Most grades were sold in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Haryana and Maharashtra. There is a preliminary estimate of selling more than one lakh degrees there. The highest number of degrees sold in Bihar was MA-B.Ed. The number of accused is more than a hundred! Along with the current owners of Monad, its previous owners and employees are also on the radar of STF. In such a situation, the investigation is now done backwards. According to STF sources, the investigation will now be started from 2015. At the same time, those who mediate the sale of degrees and those who take fake degrees will also be accused, along with the employees and owners of Monad. In such a situation, the number of accused may reach more than a hundred. DM is the officer of the investigation team. An inquiry committee was set up by the Higher Education Department of the government. DM was made the chairman of this committee. DM will also collect information from the general public in this matter. All the students who received fake grades from Monad University or who got fake grades by pretending to be genuine can record their statements before the DM. Along with this, people who have information about their fraud can also give their statements confidentially to the DM.
