Vishal Singh is accused of training Maoists to fly drones on the Bihar-Jharkhand border so that they can keep an eye on police activities. Disclosure in NIA charge sheet. (Jagran) State Bureau, Ranchi. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday filed a charge sheet against another accused Maoist Vishal Singh alias Suraj in the Northern Region Revival case. According to the chargesheet filed by the NIA, Vishal Singh stayed for ten days in the dense forests of Chhakarbandha and Pacharukhiya area on the Bihar-Jharkhand border. He also gave complete training to the Maoists in flying and using drones in the said dense forests. So that they can monitor the activities of the police. Remove Ads Read Only News Apart from this he also held several confidential meetings with senior organization leader Pramod Mishra alias Sohan Da and Central Committee member of Bihar-Jharkhand Special Area Sandeep Yadav alias Rupesh. In this case, NIA gave chargesheet information that Vishal Singh’s work was not only limited to technical assistance. He was also active in providing weapons, training and intelligence to the organization. So far NIA has acted against two in this case and many accused are absconding. NIA has made it clear that the investigation is still going on and there may be more major revelations soon. NIA also informed in the charge sheet filed against Vishal Singh that he was involved in a conspiracy to re-establish the banned terrorist organization CPI (Maoist) in North India. He was engaged in strengthening the weakening hold of the Maoist organization in the seven states and union territories of North India – Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh. In this he got help from the central committee members of Bihar and Jharkhand. The NIA invoked section 121A of treason as well as sections 18, 20, 38 and 39 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) against him. NIA had earlier filed a charge sheet against another Maoist Ajay Singhal alias Aman in this case. During the search of Vishal Singh’s house in West Delhi, NIA also seized some other digital devices including hard drive, pen drive and mobile phone.
