Bogor – West Java (Jabar) Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan was awarded the ‘Digital Security Transformation Figure and Polri Inclusivity’ award at the detikJabar Awards 2025. Rudi received this appreciation directly at the detikJabar Awards 2025 event. Rudi received the award at the event held on Wednesday (10/12/2025) at the Salak The Heritage Hotel, Bogor, West Java. Rudi appeared wearing a black batik shirt. Reported by detikJabar, Transmedia Director Latif Harnoko presented the detikJabar award trophy directly to Inspector General Rudi. The award was given to the West Java Regional Police Chief because he was considered successful in bringing significant changes to the regional police through inclusive digitization of security services. While leading the West Java Regional Police, Inspector General Rudi changed the security system to a predictive one based on real-time integrated Command Center data. He also reformed the institutional culture to be more inclusive and gender-friendly. Inspector General Rudi also made a breakthrough in CCTV mirroring for quick response. The figure of Inspector General Rudi Inspector General Rudi was born in South Lampung, 9 November 1968 and Rudi graduated from the Police Academy (Akpol) in 1993. Before becoming West Java Police Chief, Rudi Indramayu was Police Chief in 2010, Deputy Police Chief for Lampung and South Sumatra in 20y19 Corrup, and Deputya19 Corrup 2023-2025. Inspector General Rudi has been West Java Regional Police Chief since April 14, 2025, replacing Inspector General Akhmad Wiyagus. detikJabar Awards 2025 is a form of appreciation for figures, communities and programs in West Java that are inspiring, innovative, creative and capable and have an impact on society in West Java.
