The next two days, December 13 and 14, will be important for the Rajasthan judiciary. On this day, a two-day judicial conference of Western states is held in the state’s golden city of Jaisalmer. In this, along with Supreme Court CJI Surya Kant, 20 senior judges from four states: Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra will participate. This event will last for two days. Note that this two-day judicial conference is jointly organized by the National Judicial Academy, Rajasthan High Court and Rajasthan State Judicial Academy. Judges from the four states will discuss various issues with the CJI. Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and all sitting judges of the High Court will also be present at this conference. Apart from this, about 100 district judges from the four states will also participate. Many such issues are expected to be discussed in the conference, which will enable the Judiciary to do its work better. These issues may include censorship, cybercrime, digital media, Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital governance and online threats which can be discussed and debated. The increasing use of AI will also be discussed. Apart from this, the increasing use of AI to simplify and streamline the functioning of the judiciary will also be discussed. Administrative and legal reforms will also be discussed in depth to reduce the long court cases.
