A shocking news has come from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. A major food adulteration case was busted where officials seized about 45,000 white eggs, which were dyed brown and sold as expensive “desi eggs”. According to the Department of Food Safety, tea dust and chemicals were used to color the eggs. The accused used these colors to pass off white eggs as local eggs. The police busted a gang of scammers taking advantage of the high demand for local eggs. Authorities have initiated action under the Food Adulteration Act. However, Jansatta has not confirmed the viral video. Such videos often go viral on social media, often featuring vegetables. Adulteration in food is becoming common these days, be it green vegetables, fruits, cheese, ghee or milk. Adulterers don’t even spare coconut water and watermelon. Now these people have even filled local eggs with chemicals. It is difficult to understand what one should eat. Therefore, everyone should be very careful when buying food items from the market. Seeing the simplicity of the district magistrate in his office, an elderly man did not recognize him and asked, “Where are you, sir?” The IAS officer smiled and gave such a sweet reply that he won everyone’s heart.
