Djakarta – Dozens of mothers burned down a house believed to belong to a drug dealer in Tabuyung Village, Muara Batang Girls District, Mandailing Natal (Madina) Regency, North Sumatra (North Sumatra). This action was taken because residents were concerned about the large distribution of drugs. According to detikSumut, the incident started when mothers, youths and village residents came to the house on Tuesday (16/12), which is suspected to be a den for drug trafficking. The crowd then threw stones and wood at the house until it burned. “Yes, the arson incident occurred spontaneously after a group recital and prayer event. The women immediately moved to the house believed to belong to a drug dealer,” acting head of Tabuyung Village, Iskandar Muda Tanjung, said on Wednesday (17/12/2025). However, the anger of the mothers who had long been concerned about drug trafficking in their village could not be contained. Meanwhile, Mandailing Natal police chief, AKBP Arie Sofandi Paloh, confirmed that there was an arson incident carried out by mothers and village residents. He asked the public not to take the law into their own hands. “We have issued appeals and prohibitions so that residents do not commit anarchic acts and break the law.
