Jakarta – The Christmas Carol show will be held again on December 18-23 in DKI Jakarta. This event was held at a number of points, from Block M to Taman Rasuna. Based on detikcom monitoring at the location, Thursday (18/12/2025), residents seemed enthusiastic to watch the Christmas carol performance at Blok M MRT Station, South Jakarta. As time went on, more and more people came. Typical Christmas carols can be heard. A number of musical groups were seen taking turns singing songs with great joy. Some of them even came all the way especially for this occasion. One of them is Derika, an elderly person who came directly from Bogor. He admitted that he was touched because he had the opportunity to attend this event for the first time. “Honestly, I want to cry. It feels like I’ve been in Jakarta for several years, from 1975 to now, it’s like it’s the first time I’ve seen a (Christmas Carol) from Bogor. I feel so moved. Extraordinary Lord Jesus, extraordinary,” said Derika. Derika also expressed his gratitude to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for holding this event. He hopes that this kind of Christmas celebration will become an annual event in Jakarta. “I am very grateful to the governor and deputy governor for providing a place here for the Jakarta Christmas Carol,” he said. In line with Derika, Zenka, a resident of West Jakarta, admitted that he was happy to be able to attend the Christmas carol. He also appreciated the music groups that performed optimally on this occasion. “Being in a band as well, so much appreciation (for the band),” he said. As is known, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government is again holding the Kerssang or Kerssang on December 18-23. The Christmas Carol will be held at a number of points as follows: 1.
