A man in Ketapang chopped off his wife’s head with a machete, immediately annoyed at being scolded
Ketapang – A man with the initials PJ (53), a resident of Sengkaharak Village, Tumbang Titi, Ketapang Regency hacked his own wife with a machete. The perpetrator has now been arrested. “After members of the Tumbang Titi Police received the report from the witness, the perpetrator was immediately arrested along with evidence in the form of a machete. Meanwhile, the victim was taken to the community health center to receive intensive treatment,” said Tumbang Titi Police Chief, Inspector Made Adyana, as reported by detikKalimantan, Wednesday (2/200251). The assault left the victim with serious injuries to the back of the head. The incident started when the perpetrator was talking to a witness with the initials M in a garden hut in Segar Wangi Village. The victim pulled the sling bag the offender was carrying to take his mobile phone and motorcycle keys. “After that, the victim left on a motorcycle. When the victim wanted to leave, the offender chased him, pulled out the machete that was at his waist and then swung it at the back of the victim’s head until the victim fell,” he said. Witnesses who witnessed the incident from the beginning immediately asked residents for help.
