Mumbai, October 31 (IANS). Shehnaaz Gill’s film ‘Ik Kudi’ released in theaters on Friday. A screening of the film was held earlier on Thursday, where everyone from TV to Bollywood stars was seen. TV actor and comedian Krishna Abhishek’s sister Aarti Singh also watched Shehnaz’s film and praised Shehnaz Gill’s acting. Aarti Singh shared a post in the name of Shehnaz Gill, praising the film ‘Ik Kudi’. He wrote, “‘Ik Kudi’ is a better film than I thought, everyone’s performance is great but Shehnaaz Gill played her character very maturely.” Aarti further wrote, “The second half of the film made me cry. God bless this film and I wish you both a successful new beginning as producers.” Aarti Singh also mentioned some special scenes of the film in her post and also appealed to the fans to watch the film. He told that this film will first make the audience laugh and then make them cry. Many celebrities including Avneet Kaur, Hina Khan, Rocky Jaiswal and Chinky-Minky were spotted at the screening of the film. The film ‘Ik Kudi’ is very special for Shehnaz Gill because along with acting in the film he also produced the film. As a producer, he kept many things in mind while making the film. In an interview given to IANS, he said, “For me, this film is not just a film, but an emotion, related to my own life. While making the film, I realized many responsibilities, choosing the story of the film, taking the team along was not easy, but every new experience teaches something or the other.” ‘Ikk Kudi’ is the story of a girl who is on a quest to choose the right life partner. In this episode, she rejects many boys, but when her marriage is fixed with a boy (Kaushal Joshi), Shehnaz moves with her family to a village in Punjab to know about him.
