Now it has attracted the attention of the police. The clip, which is said to show a young couple in an intimate moment, surfaced in late November and has since gone viral on various platforms. Police say the 19-minute video is AI-generated Police have released a statement about the 19-minute video. He said that it was AI generated. Authorities warned people not to forward or repost it. Amit Yadav, NCB Cyber ​​​​Cell officer, said, “The viral video is AI-generated. We have also found that its so-called Part 2 and Part 3 are also fake and created with the help of Artificial Intelligence.” They advised users that suspicious clips can be verified using sites like SiteEngine, which can detect AI-generated content. Yadav appealed to the people to stop sharing such videos immediately as sharing such content is considered a serious crime. Sharing obscene content can lead to a prison sentence of up to 7 years. Indian law has strict provisions to punish those who share such content. Under Section 67 of the IT Act, sending obscene material can lead to three years imprisonment and a fine of ₹5 lakh. Section 67A prescribes a punishment of five years and a fine of ₹10 lakh for sharing sexually explicit content. Repeat offenses can result in prison terms of up to seven years. Apart from this, sharing such videos is also a violation of personal privacy, for which action can be taken under sections 292, 293 and 354C of IPC. Using these videos, cyber fraudsters have become active and are targeting people. They steal victims’ confidential information, hack their phones and tap their bank accounts.
