After about half an hour, he received six messages to withdraw money from his bank account. ₹5.81 lakh was deducted from his account. When he investigated, he found out that fraudsters had hacked his account by sending the APK file. Then he hacked his cell phone and withdrew the money. The victim filed a complaint at the NCRP portal and the cyber crime police station. Station House Officer Vijay Singh Rana said a case was registered based on the complaint of the victim. Information about bank accounts involved in the fraud is collected. The incident will soon be revealed. Do not open APK files.
