Jakarta – Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) is playing an active role in supporting the government’s efforts to deal with the flood disaster that hit Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province. This support is realized through the provision of health services, logistical assistance and distribution of basic food packages to affected residents, especially in areas not yet affected by aid. AGP’s humanitarian commitment was seen when the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto together with the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (Kapolri) Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo paid a working visit to Aceh Tamiang on Friday (12/12). The visit started with the arrival of the President and his entourage in the courtyard of the Aceh Tamiang Regent’s office, and continued with a direct inspection of the flood management post in Karang Baru Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang. On this occasion, the AGP team on duty in the field expressed their appreciation for the central government’s attention to the communities affected by the flood. The presence of the AGP medical team at the health post, Friday (12/12) was also worrying. This team is active in providing health services to residents affected by floods, focusing on vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly and residents experiencing health problems after the flood. On the same day, the AGP team also packed basic food aid which was then distributed directly to residents’ homes. The distribution of aid is prioritized to towns that have not previously received aid, to ensure that distribution is more even, faster and on target. Since December 4, 2025, AGP has been involved in the initial handling of the flood disaster in Aceh Tamiang through the distribution of basic necessities, health services and logistical support for evacuation posts. The presence of the AGP team in the field is carried out continuously every day in coordination with the regional government, TNI, Polri and other related agencies. AGP emphasized his commitment to continue accompanying the community until conditions gradually recover and all affected residents receive appropriate treatment.
