During this, he was traveling at a speed of 150 km per hour and the General Manager of East Central Railway was conducting window drag inspection of the Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tilaiya-Koderma-Dhanbad railway section. East Central Railway General Manager Chhatrasal Singh conducted a detailed window inspection of the Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tilaiya-Koderma-Dhanbad railway section on Friday. During the trip, he thoroughly evaluated the ride quality of various stations, bridges, OHE system, road keeping system and track. On return to inspection window drag inspection of Jhajha-Kiul-Rajendra Bridge-Barauni railway section was also done. During inspection, even when the speed of the train reached 150 km/h on the Bandhua–Koderma–Dhanbad section, ‘the water kept in the glass was found to be absolutely stable’. This was considered as a proof of the excellent track strength, high quality maintenance, modern technology based infrastructure and continuous improvement in ride quality in Dhanbad division. After the inspection, the General Manager instructed the officials to further strengthen the safety and security standards, improve passenger amenities and make the maintenance of the track and OHE system more modern and efficient. On this occasion, Divisional Railway Manager of Danapur Division Vinod Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager of Sonpur Division Amit Saran and Additional Divisional Railway Manager of Dhanbad Division Amit Kumar along with their respective officers were present.
