After arresting nine miscreants of the gang, the police recovered Rs 36,500 in stolen cash, gold and silver jewellery, two bikes and a pickup truck along with two pistols. Stolen animals are taken to Khalilabad and Raunahi animal markets and sold. The accused have admitted the theft of two buffaloes from Auliapur, Baddupur on the night of December 2, 2025. He also confessed to theft from Fort Belhara in Belhara of Mohammadpur Khala and theft from a house in Kaitha on the night of September 18. The miscreants had earlier changed the number plate of the bakkie to escape from the police.
