Internship will be compulsory in the fifth semester, for which four credits are prescribed. The university will conduct internship in both offline and online mode, for which a list of institutions will be prepared. There will be mentoring and evaluation of students doing internship. Internship has been made compulsory for students in the fifth semester of the graduation course. Four credits have been made compulsory for this. Remove Advertisement Read Only News Internship policy in NAD, ABC and graduation were discussed at directorate level in Patna on Wednesday. First, a technical session was organized on NAD and ABC. After this, the internship policy for undergraduate students was discussed. It was decided that all the universities will soon decide on all the modalities of the internship policy and implement it. Detailed guidelines for this will be prepared soon in BRA Bihar University. DSW Dr. Alok Pratap Singh, Controller of Examination Dr. Ram Kumar and other officials of BRA Bihar University participated in the program at directorate level. DSW Dr. Alok Pratap Singh expressed his opinion on internship policy. Said that it will be in both offline and online mode. Internship can be done offline in industry and NGOs. The list of internship provider institutions will be prepared by the university. There will be opportunities in this from private to public sector. There will also be an opportunity for internship in NITI Aayog. A list of such institutions will be drawn up by the university. There will be mentoring for the students doing internship. It will be evaluated. The internship will end with a presentation. A total of four credits are determined in the fifth semester of graduation. DSW has attempted to implement uniformity in the internship policy. He also talked about uniformity in examination and evaluation. On the other hand, instructions were also given to all the universities to complete NAD and ABC ID work. It has been decided that the complete record of the results released in the year 2024 should be uploaded on the portal by November 30. Records of students from previous sessions should also be uploaded. On the other hand, in courses like LA to B.Ed which are offered in annual mode and their syllabus is not updated, then how will their credit be uploaded in such a situation. Guidance was also sought in this regard. The curriculum of these courses will be prepared according to the National Curriculum Framework. After this, their credit will be topped up.
