According to the information, the deceased was Reena Devi (26), wife of husband Virendra Bhuiyan. Reena Devi was a dancer by profession. Her husband works as a laborer in another state, due to which she lived alone at home. The real reasons for suicide are not known. Hrishikesh Dubey, head of the police station, said that the reason for suicide will be clear only after the post-mortem report comes. However, the police are seriously investigating all aspects. The court of Second District and Additional Sessions Judge Prateek Chaturvedi of Palamu District Civil Court sentenced three accused, including a woman, to five years imprisonment in the case of grievous bodily harm by assault. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 50,000 each on all three. In default of payment of fine, each will have to undergo additional imprisonment of one year. The names of the culprits include Jamila Biwi, Ibrahim Ansari and Abdul Rahim Ansari, residents of Sadpur, Patan police station area. These three were accused of attacking Samsuddin Ansari and Riyaz Ansari, son of Imamuddin Ansari, resident of Sadpur under Patan police station, with a sharp weapon on July 15, 2014. In which both the brothers were seriously injured. After the incident, plaintiff Imamuddin Ansari filed an FIR at the Patan police station. The police have registered a case under sections 307, 326, 341, 504/34. Based on available evidence and testimonies, the court found all three guilty under section 326 and sentenced them.
