The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has taken major action against IndiGo and suspended four flight operations inspectors. DGCA says that these employees were responsible for overseeing the safety and operational rules of the troubled IndiGo. Let us tell you that at the beginning of this month, Indigo canceled thousands of its flights. Due to this, lakhs of passengers across the country had to face a lot of problems. Now the situation is gradually becoming normal. DGCA is said to have deployed two teams at the airline’s Gurugram office to oversee various operations including crew utilization and refunds. These monitoring teams will report to the regulator daily at 6:00 p.m.
