In the name of filing an FIR, a middleman demanded a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from a businessman from Derabassi. The businessman’s file was suppressed because he did not pay the bribe. After the arrest of former DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar in the bribery case, many old layers of the Punjab Police are now exposed. Not only Krishna Sharda but many other middlemen worked for Bhullar. A similar case came to light in which a middleman demanded a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from a businessman from Derabassi in the name of registering an FIR. Remove Advertisement Only Read News This bribe was also demanded in the name of former DIG Bhullar. He told the businessman that he would let the DIG do his work only through Krishna. However, he even said that if the bribe is not given, his file will be suppressed. In the end the same happened and the businessman’s file was suppressed by the office of SSP Mohali on the insistence of Bhullar. Now many police officers of Mohali are also on the target after being caught in bribery case.
