Jakarta – Former Maluku governor Said Assagaff has died. Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs, visited Said Assagaff’s funeral home. From the written statement received by detikcom, Said Assagaff died this afternoon at the age of 72 at 17.50 WIB in Jakarta. He was treated at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) Jakarta before he died. Airlangga visited Said Assagaff’s funeral home in Cipete Selatan, Cilandak, South Jakarta this evening. Airlangga said Said was a hard worker and never gave up. “I express my deepest condolences on the passing of my friend, former governor of Maluku Said Assagaff. He was a good figure, willing to fight for the people, especially Maluku, and a hard worker.
