Jammu, November 1 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Chaudhary inspected the construction site of the fourth bridge on Saturday. During this he assured that this bridge will be completely ready within the next 20 days. He said that despite the limited powers of the government, no delay would be allowed in the works of public interest. While talking to journalists, Deputy CM said that the fourth bridge of Jammu will be completed in the next 20 days. I gave clear instructions to the contractor that the work must be completed on time under any circumstances. This is currently a temporary restoration, but after this the movement of vehicles will resume completely. He said that amid the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, the government is working under difficult conditions. Our government is running in the midst of many difficulties and problems. LG Sahib also knows how limited things are in our hands, but we still say that we will not stop or bend. We will complete any work required by the public. The Deputy CM further said that he himself reached the spot because this project is very important for the common people. We came here and stand here because we realize our responsibility. We are not protocol people. Civil servants must also understand that we have to work. If the Deputy CM is personally inspecting the fourth bridge, then there is some reason for it. Public needs and public interest. Chaudhary said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is also taking the responsibilities of the government seriously. CM Omar Abdullah understands his responsibility, so together we are fulfilling the promises made to the public. What we have said, we have always done. We are not people like BJP whose words and deeds are different. He reiterated that the public will get the benefits of this project in the coming days. Within 20 days, this bridge will be completely ready and open for traffic.
