He said that animal smugglers try to escape by changing routes in the dark of night, therefore every suspect vehicle should be stopped and checked. If any vehicle attempts to pass without stopping, it must be immediately notified to the police post ahead, so that it can be stopped at another barrier. During the inspection, the DIG also found that the checking of vehicles is not being done properly at some places. On this he instructed the local police to improve the system. He said that the safety of the general public at night is the primary responsibility of the police, therefore every officer and employee must increase vigilance.
