Luwu – Two men in Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel) were attacked by a crocodile. The two of them were attacked by a crocodile while searching for a relative named Herman (50) who disappeared while herding cattle and setting a signal in the pond. “Yes, that’s right, 2 people from the victim’s family (Herman) were attacked by a crocodile while searching for missing victims in the pond and were immediately evacuated in safe condition to the nearest health center,” said head of operations at Basarnas Makassar, Andi Sultan, as reported by detikSulsel, Monday (512/2012). Victim Herman was reported missing in Beringin Hamlet, North Pompengan Village, East Lamasi District on Saturday (29/11). Residents and village officials went to the spot to search for victims until two people were attacked by crocodiles. Sultan added that body parts believed to belong to the victim were also found in the pond.
